EVANGELINA B. RAMOS September 18, 1920 - September 06, 2015 Another angel has found her way home. Evangelina B. Ramos passed away on September 6, 2015, surrounded by family and close friends. She was 95 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Saturnino Ramos and her eldest daughter Carmen Ramos Trevino. She and her husband had 8 children, 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Her children include: Carmen (Armando) Trevio, Saturnino Ramos Jr., Vangy (Fernando) Mendoza, Teresa (Roberto) Gonzlez, Cecilia (Rogelio) Trevio, Toni (Juan) Caballero, Arcadio (Delma) Ramos, and Sister Lupita Ramos. Her grandchildren include: Kike, Jorge, Oscar & Carmen Trevio; Nino III & Tony Ramos; Nando, Miki, Lalo, Louie, Mavis & Marissa Mendoza; Roberto Gonzlez; Laura, Anna, & Roger Trevio; Toni, Alicia, & Agustn Caballero; and Denise & Archie Ramos. Father Nolasco, her parish priest wrote of Evangelina, "However a great consolation is that she was surrounded at the end with the ones she loved and cherished the most. She was a great Catholic, wife, mother, grandmotheran overall person who shared with others the ministry of proclaiming and living out the Gospel by example and word. May she rest in peace, and may the perpetual light of God shine upon her." We will miss her deeply. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 09, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., with a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary scheduled to commence at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning, September 10, 2015 departing at 08:25 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Holy Family Catholic Church, 2702 Stone Ave., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
