Esther Rodriguez

Esther Rodriguez, 95, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 20, 2012.-.-Esther was born in Laredo, Texas to Eduardo Benavides Herrera and Rafaela Garcia Herrera on August 19, 1916.-She was very proud of being a direct descendent of the founder of Laredo, Don Tomas Sanchez through her father and paternal grandparents.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eduardo and Rafaela Herrera, husbands, Manuel G. Escamilla, Sr., Juan F. Rodriguez, Jr., daughter, Laura Esther Rodriguez, sister, Helen Herrera, and grandson, Jason Christopher Tolin.

She is survived by her children, Manuel G. (Ann) Escamilla, Jr. from Laredo, TX., Christina Rodriguez Tolin from San Antonio, TX., Juan F. (Laura) Rodriguez, III. from Austin, TX., grandchildren, Anthony Dell (Kellie) Tolin from Cary, N.C., Manuel E. Escamilla(Jennifer and Danika), Cynthia C. (Vinny) Carlelli from St. Petersburg, FL., Laura M. Rodriguez from Austin, TX., great-grandchildren, Parker Dell Tolin, and Cooper Christopher Tolin.-She is also survived by numerous nieces, cousin, relatives, and friends.
