Esther Martinez

Esther A. Martinez, 87, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 7, 2013 with her family by her side.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband: Florentino Martinez, Sr.; sons: Felix Martinez and Pedro Martinez; grandchildren: Esmeralda Quintana, Salvador Martinez, and Florentino Martinez, III.; her siblings: Mr. and Mrs. Rogelio Aguero, Rodolfo Aguero, and Juan Aguero.

She is survived by her children:-Esther Martinez, Florentino (Angelina) Martinez, Jr., Maria Magdalena (Frank) Elizondo of San Antonio, Ana Maria (Arturo) Nevarez of Houston, Rosaura (David) Cruz, Lydia Tomasita Martinez, Salvador Martinez, Jose Guadalupe (Rosa) Martinez, Dora (Ramiro) Rodriguez; brothers: Teodoro (Maria Luisa) Aguero, Ricardo (Maria del Socorro) Aguero; sisters-in-law: Angela Aguero, and Angelina Aguero.-She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and Sara and Luis Martinez, for whom she cared and loved dearly.

Her family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Carlos Hornedo and staff, Dr. Benson Huang and staff, Laredo Specialty Hospital, LMC ICU, Modesta Ramirez, and her longtime caretaker, Carmen Binch.
