Esperanza was preceded in death by her husband, Lazaro Rios Alejandro; her son Reynaldo Rios; her parents, Jose Angel Morales and Cleotilde Gonzalez; and her brothers and sisters, Nicholas Morales, Salvador Morales, Dolores Sanchez, Raul Morales, and Mercedes Morales Barrientos.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rodolfo Rios (Norma+), Hilda (Manuel Alfredo) Castro, Hector (Hortencia) Rios, Dora Norma (Jose Enrique) Flores, Imelda (Henry) Cuellar, and Sergio Rios; grandchildren, Veronica Rios, Rudy Rios, Manuel Castro, Jr., Omar Enrique Castro, Gabriel (Michelle) Castro, Jackquelyn (Jay) Tobin, Monica (Javier) Reyna, David Rios, Michelle Rios, Bianka (John) Pena, Jose Enrique Flores, III., Christina Alexandra Cuellar, Catherine Ann Cuellar, Emily Rios, and Mateo Rios; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Andrea Castro, Rodolfo Rios, III., Bernadette Rios, Javier Andres Reyna, Hector Joaquin Reyna, Jacobo Gerardo Reyna, Emma Victoria Reyna, David Nicholas Rios, Skylar Olivia Rios, Michael Patrick Tobin, Liam Scott Tobin, Catherine Grace Tobin, Madelynn Paige Castro, Luna Rose Pena, Logan Gael Pena, and Jose Enrique Flores, IV.; great-great-grandson Luca Castro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, May 13, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, May 14, 2024 departing at 9:45 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Rudy Rios, Hector Rios, Sergio Rios, Henry Cuellar, Gabriel Castro, Ricky Flores, Andy Reyna and Nikki Rios
