ESMERALDA GARCIA January 24, 1971 - April 03, 2014 Esmeralda Garcia, 43, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 3, 2014. We give thanks to God for allowing us to have some very fond memories that will forever will remain in our hearts and minds, she will be truly missed. She is survived by her father and mother; Santiago & Ramona Garcia her children; Guadalupe Tristan, Eddie Michael (Sarah) Tristan, Javier Hernandez; her grandchild; Aidan Michael Tristan. Also surviving her are her siblings; Santiago (Otila) Garcia Jr., Gloria (Rodolfo) Gonzalez, Juan (Maria) Garcia, Ramon (Tina) Garcia, Benancio (Tony) Garcia, Manuela (Alejandro) Hernandez, Nicolasa (Hector) Medina, Pablo (Elsa) Garcia, Miriam (Tomas) Vela Gabriel (Gladys) Garcia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel, 719 Loring and Cortez. A Rosary and Vigil will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
