ESMERALDA CANTU

DECEMBER 3, 1978 – AUGUST 10, 2019

Esmeralda Cantu, 40, entered into the Lord’s presence on Saturday, August 10, 2019.  She leaves behind many memories that will forever be cherished by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her father: Zaragoza Cantu.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband:  Jose Trinidad Gonzalez; children:  Katherine Gonzalez, Jazmine Gonzalez; mother:  Marilu G. Cantu; siblings: Marilu Cantu, San Juanita Cantu, Margarita (Luis) Cantu Barrios; nephews:  Eli Barrios, Ian Barrios, Leonardo Santana, Priscilla Santana, Donaldo Santana; mother-in-Law: Maria Candelaria Sanchez and sister-in-Law:  Laura Gonzalez, as well as, by other relatives and many friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, August 15, 2019 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, August 16, 2019 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels for a Chapel service at 9:30 a.m.  The procession will then depart at 10:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
