Ernesto Rodriguez

Ernesto Rodriguez, 69, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Basilia Rodriguez; his brothers, Domingo Rodriguez, Jr., Gerardo Rodriguez; brothers-in-law, Enrique Perez, Jr., Ramiro Perez; sister-in-law, Rosa Mendez; and his in-laws, Enrique (Julia) Perez.

He is survived by Juanita P. Rodriguez; sons, Ernesto (Janie) Rodriguez, Jr., Rogelio (Yvette) Rodriguez; daughter, Veronica (Mario) Molina; grandchildren, Kimberly Botello, Valerie (Eric) Herrera, Jennifer Rodriguez, Rogelio Rodriguez, Jr., Rebecca Rodriguez, Marianna and Cynthia Molina, and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Estella (Roberto) Mireles, Yolanda (Reynaldo+) Garcia, Elena (Salvador) Perez, Ramiro (Dora) Rodriguez, Raul (Noemi) Rodriguez, Eduardo (Consuelo) Rodriguez, Juan (Elizabeth) Rodriguez, Evangelina (Arnulfo) Saldana, Belda (Reynaldo), Reynaldo Rodriguez; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Ricardo) Quintana, Delia (Lauro) Pena, Amalia Rodriguez, and Leticia Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Javier (Eva) Perez; along with other loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to his sister and caregiver, Yolanda Garcia, for her utmost care and attention.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2018, at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, from 5 to 9 in the evening; with a Rosary at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass at 9:00 a.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
