Ernesto Laurel, 70, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Mr. Laurel was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was passionate about hunting and the maquinitas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Susana Laurel.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Imelda S. Laurel; children, Ernesto (Jessica) Saenz, Evelina (Leodan) Esquivel, Magdalena (Beto Gonzalez) Laurel, Esmeralda (Juan Carlos) Martinez, Armando (Joanna) Laurel, Jaime Ernesto (Griselda) Laurel, Kristina (Joe Romo) Laurel; grandchildren, Christopher Saenz, Eduardo L. Esquivel, Albert M. Esquivel, Javier A. Esquivel, Lydia Yvette De La Rosa, Juan Carlos, Jr., Julio C., Emily, and Mia Martinez, Lorena, Jonathan, and Jezika Laurel, Jaime, Jr., Derek, and Kissandra Laurel, Jasmine Ruiz, Azalea Romo, and 4 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings, Dolores (Manuel) Rodriguez, Jorge (Sherry) Laurel, Jr., Maria E. (Pablo) Orozco; along with other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, December 11, 2022 from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7:45 p.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
