ENRIQUE SERNA JR. December 23, 1952 - APRIL 05, 2015 Enrique Serna, Jr., 62, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 05, 2015. Even through his long illness, Enrique found comfort and hope in his loving family, whom he cherished, loved and will forever guide from the heavens. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and you can say, he never lost hope in America's team. We will fondly remember his love of food and his cooking. Time spent with him was a gift in itself. You could always find him watching novelas, being with family and who can forget playing his football pots. He was very proud to had work for more than 37 years with the Tex-Mex Railroad Company which is now known as the Kansas City Southern Lines Company. He went to rest on Easter Sunday, the day Christ arose victoriously from the dead. Enrique's battles have been won, he fought valiantly and will now be rewarded with eternal rest. May you now rest from your labors, for your good deeds go with you. He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Serna Sr. and Angela R. Serna; as well as by his brother, Roberto Serna. Enrique is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Beatriz Serna; children, Enrique (Diana Ivett) Serna III, Roberto (Naria) Serna, Sandra (Carlos Javier Almaraz) Serna; grandchildren, Diana Mabel Serna, Daphne Paola Serna, Mindi Irene Serna, Roberto Mack Serna; sisters, Rebecca (Tomas) Gutierrez, Rosa Maria (Ignacio) Canteno.
