Eloisa Mendiola

Mrs. Eloisa R. Mendiola, 89, entered into our Lord's heavenly kingdom on Saturday, October 04, 2014 at her daughter's residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was surrounded by her loving and caring family. Mrs. Mendiola was formerly of Laredo until her health concerns led her to live out her earthly journey in San Antonio. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Miguel Rafael Mendiola; parents, Salomon and Idolina Richo; as well as her brothers and sisters. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving children, Eloisa (Larry) Newton, Miguel R. (Claudia) Mendiola, Jr., Eduardo Mendiola, Radames (Rosario) Mendiola, and David (Juanita) Mendiola; as well as by her 12 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 07, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Vigil for the Deceased will commence at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, October 08, 2014 departing at 8 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
