OCTOBER 19, 1931 – DECEMBER 10, 2019

Mrs. Elida de Leon, 88, entered into the loving presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 10, 2019, having been surrounded by her loving family at her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband:  Felix De Leon, Sr.; children: Felix De Leon Jr., Reymundo De Leon; parents: Pedro and Conrada Gonzalez; siblings:  Elisa, Pedro, Juan, Consuelo, Manuel and Alejandro Gonzalez.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children:  Aida (Rogelio) Soto, Javier (Aleida) De Leon, Ruben De Leon, Elsa De Leon, Dalia (Daniel) Garcia, Adriana De Leon; 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Maria de Jesus Gomez, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 4 until 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, with a Prayer Service being offered at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. to Templo de Dios Church, 416 S. Meadow Ave for a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jose Garcia offering the service.

Interment will follow the service at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Javier De Leon, Ruben De Leon, Felix Martinez, Rafael Soto, Rogelio Soto, Mario De Leon, Rene Molina, Roel Molina and Raul Molina, Jr.
