ELIA IMELDA MEDINA
NOVEMBER 18, 1959 –NOVEMBER 21, 2018

Elia Imelda Medina, 59, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was a loving human being, a very caring person with the biggest heart. She always was a helping hand to anybody who needed it. She was the best mother, grandmother anybody could ask for. Forever will she be missed and continues to live in our hearts and never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her father Rodolfo Medina Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Francisco Javier (Priscilla Garcia) Medina-Degollado, Hector (Diana Gladys) Degollado, Veronika (Fabian Silva) Degollado; father of her children, Oscar Degollado; her grandchildren, Andrew Medina, Francisco Xavier Medina, Jr., Elia Imelda Degollado, Hector Degollado, Jr., Fabian Silva, Jr., Melanie Itzel Silva; her mother Eulalia Castañeda Medina. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Rodolfo (Teresa) Medina, Jr., Elsa (Ramon) Garcia, Gloria (Valentin) Garcia, Angelica (Antonio) Rodriguez, Reyes (Nora) Medina, Maricela Medina, and Rolando Medina; along with other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, November 27, 2018 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a prayer service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning, November 28, 2018 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels for a Chapel service at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
