Elia Cadena

Mrs. Elia Jesusa Esparza Cadena, 78, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at a local hospital. She returns to the house of her heavenly father to be reunited with all of her loved ones in the presence of Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesus Cadena; son, Gerardo Cadena; and her parents, Jose and Antonia Solis Esparza. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Jesus Cadena, Jr., Rosa (Jose) Santos, Gilberto (Mabel) Cadena, Berta Cadena, Juan Jose (Alma) Cadena, Christina (Jose) Lara; as well as by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Further surviving her is her brother, Jose Esparza as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 7 to 10:10 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 10:10 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church, 2710 Boulanger St., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
