Mrs. Elena Macias, 69, entered into the arms of the heavenly father on Sunday, January 31, 2016.

She was a loyal and hardworking Teacher- Aide for over 30 years at Buenos Aires (Don Gallegos Elementary), until her retirement in 2010.

Mrs. Macias was a great companion, spouse, mother, grandmother and friend. Her passion was worthy with her students. She would always remember her wonderful years at Buenos Aires Elementary and would miss her work family dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marcos & Maria de Jesus Arredondo; and sisters Maria Hernandez and Thomasa Bustos.

She is survived by her husband Juan R. Macias; children Juan R. ( Vegonia) Macias, Jr. and Carolina Macias; grandchildren Mario and Marcos Reyna, Abel and Austin Guillen, Zeth, Katie and Josh Macias

Honorary Pallbearers will be Juan R. Macias, Juan R. Macias, Jr., Antonio Macias, Chale Tijerina, Charlie Bustos and David Bustos.

Family and friend will be receiving condolences on Monday, February 01, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels.
