Eleazar Gonzalez

Mr. Eleazar Gonzalez, 66, entered into the loving embrace of God at the close of the day on October 23, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.

Eleazar was the epitome of an ethical worker and strong man until his final days here on earth. His family will forever cherish the many wonderful memories that were etched in their hearts. He began his career at the Laredo Junior College (now Laredo College) around the late 1960’s and devoted his entire career there faithfully discharging his duties until his retirement in 2015. His strong ethic carried over to his family and although we lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, we gained many memories that will continue to enrich and strengthen us throughout our lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Crescencio and Trinidad Gonzalez and by his sister: Rosa Elia Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory are: his wife: Bertha M. Gonzalez; son: Hugo Sergio (Claudia) Gonzalez; grandchildren: Haley Marie Gonzalez, Hugo Sergio Gonzalez Jr., Mateo Alejandro Gonzalez, and Liam Sebastian Gonzalez; as well as his sister: Maria Elsa (Martin) Garcia.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
