Edward Joseph Camina, Jr.

Edward Joseph Camina, Jr., 49, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, February 6, 2025. 

Edward dedicated 26 years of his life to the City of Laredo's Bridge Department, where his hard work and commitment made a lasting impact.

Outside of his professional life, Edward was passionate about the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed spending his free time in the outdoors, particularly gardening. However, his greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, always putting them first.

Edward a devoted husband, father, brother, and son will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering dedication to those he loved, and his ability to bring people together. He leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and a strong sense of family that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal uncle, Robert Camina; his maternal uncle, Guillermo Cisneros. 

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 22 years of marriage, Arianna Rodriguez Camina; his children, Kevin J. Camina, Jackeline Camina, and Daniella Camina, and; his parents, Edward Joseph (Dora A.) Camina, Sr., and Leticia Cisneros; his siblings, Melissa C. (Stellie S.) Jackson, and Alejandro Camina; niece, Mia L. Jackson; paternal aunts, and uncles, Mary Helen (Jim) Sherrill, and Raymond Louis (Barbara) Camina; his maternal aunts and uncles, Eduardo J. Cisneros, and Adriana Wring; his parents-in-law, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Rosalinda Escobedo; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, February 12, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, February 13, 2025 where a Chapel Service will commence at 10:30 a.m. 

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
