Edward Texas

Our beloved Edward “Eddie” Regino, 68, entered into the heavenly kingdom on August 23, 2017 in Houston, Texas, having been faithfully surrounded by his loving family at his side.

Eddie Regino was born to Casper John and Doris Regino on December 7, 1949. He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas where he attended St. Joseph's Academy and later attended and graduated United High School.

He went on to receive his Doctorate (PHD)in the school of Hard Knocks! While still in Laredo, Texas and during the oil boom, he worked and learned the different jobs offered in the oilfield industry. This was what he referred to as "The hard Knocks!" He was so bright and knowledgeable in all areas of the field that a large Service Company in the oil field Industry offered him a position managing their service crew in Laredo, Texas!

SWACO was his love. They then promoted him to Houston, Texas where he went on to open up sales in Latin America. He was loved and respected by many in his field! He retired after 25 years and more to help with his beloved mother-in-law’s needs during her last years! He was always willing to go above and beyond helping those in need by joining the Knights of Columbus! He was always teaching and helping his kids with Cooking, yard work, and just good old advice on living a good clean life!

We were able to be with our Eddie in the Hospital till he took his last breath. He was a wonderful husband and father to his 3 kids. We will miss him dearly and want all who have kind words to share to join with us on August the 30th at the celebration of his life!

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents: Casper John and Doris Martha Johnson Regino

He is lovingly survived by his beloved spouse Cordelia “Cordy” Garcia Regino; children: Christopher John Regino, Jennifer Marie Regino (Scott Marshall Eade), Michael Anthony Regino; brother: Robert John Regino; sister: Sandra McCoy, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many beloved friends and coworkers.

The family will gather to celebrate his life on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd., from 9 to 11:30 a.m. where a funeral service will commence at 11:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
