EDUARDO “E.J.” JOSE SANCHEZ

OCTOBER 12, 1931 – JANUARY 12, 2019

Eduardo Jose Sanchez, 87, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Mr. Sanchez, was employed as a trucker with Link Petroleum, also with Hoelt Oil Company. He later owned and operated E.J. Brick and Title. Mr. Sanchez was also employed by Webb County Road Bridge, until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Roberto & Maria Guadalupe Sanchez. Also by his sister, Bertha (Jose) Esparza and brother Armando Sanchez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Benita S. Sanchez, children: Maria Luisa (Jesus) Carrizalez from Laredo, Maria Guadalupe Macias from Laredo, Eduardo J. (Mireya) Sanchez Jr. from Laredo, Ricardo (Margarita) Sanchez from San Antonio, TX, Roberto Sanchez from New York, Diana Sanchez from Laredo, Sylvia (Francisco) Ramos from San Antonio, TX, Benita B. (Fernando) Magaña from Laredo, and Marco Antonio (Monica) Sanchez from Laredo; siblings: Andrea (Domingo †) Martinez and Maria Guadalupe Sanchez as well as 24 grandchildren, as well as 52 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and his sister-in-law, Delia Sanchez.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, January 16, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, January 17. 2019 departing at 8:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
