Dominga Holguin

Ps. 23"El Seor es mi Pastor, nada me faltara." Mrs. Dominga R. Holguin, 73, entered into the kingdom of heaven on July 29, 2014 at a local hospital. Dominga was a wonderful mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ has been passed on to those that survive her. Into the loving embrace of Jesus Christ, she went to find that eternal peace and although there is a longing and void in our hearts, we have faith that she is now at peace looking upon us and guiding us throughout our earthly journey. God bless you our love. We will always love you and you shall forever remain in our hearts. She is preceded in death by her parents: Gonzalo and Susana Rivera; sister Ruth Ferreyra; great-grandson: Alejandro Armando Cantu. Surviving her are her children: Robert (Lourdes) Holguin, Eder (Laura) Holguin, Norma (Jesus) Cantu, Mario (Gail) Holguin, Yvonne (Ignacio) Duran, and Ruben (Stephanie) Ferreyra; as well as 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Raul (Maria Elena) Rivera, Lydia (Raul) Mendoza, Gonzalo (Cristina) Rivera, Pedro (Edna) Rivera, Mario (Josie) Rivera as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Holguin family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to her caregivers: Brenda Vazquez and Sheila Garay for their care and attention to her needs. We cannot forget to mention Pedro and Edna Rivera, her brother and sister in law who so graciously cared for her until God called her home. May God bless you now and always. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Iglesia Cristiana Misericordia. The family will receive guests from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
