Dolores Veytia Volpe

September 30, 1942-January 3, 2020

Mrs. Dolores Veytia Volpe, 77, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 3, 2020.

Few have had the opportunity to witness such an awesome relationship of unconditional love between mother and daughter. Dolores truly loved her only daughter and best confidant. Diana’s unwavering love for her mother turned into a lifelong devotion of meeting her mother’s wants and needs. In her passing, there is now a physical distance between mother and daughter, but never a distance of the heart. While the pages of her life on Earth have ended, the mother/daughter relationship was one of the best chapters in the book of Dolores Volpe.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donato L. Volpe, Sr.; son Daniel William Volpe; and parents, Lauro and Herlinda Veytia.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donato L. Volpe, Jr., Diana E. “Tita” Volpe, David A. (Nidia) Volpe; grandchildren, Donato “Trae” III (Saida), Evan, Andre and Daniela Volpe;  brother Gilbert Veytia; sisters, Linda Duncan and Jenny Pimentel.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, January 6, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Road; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, January 7, 2020 departing at 9:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
