Dolores Texas

Mrs. Dolores De Luna Cavazos, 87, entered into rest on Saturday, December 17, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her husband Juan M. Cavazos; her daughter Elsa A. Castillo; and her mother Consuelo De Luna.

She is survived by her children, Juan M. (Ana Maria) Cavazos, Jr., Deborah (Aristeo) Canales, Belinda (Earl) Granado, Joel Jorge (Evelia) Cavazos, Laura (Chris) De Groot, Pamela C. Cavazos, Gilbert Cavazos, and Robert (Annabel) Cavazos. She is also survived by her brother Edmundo Alvarado; and by her numerous loving grandchildren, and great- grandchildren, and extended relatives and friends.

The family sends a special thanks to Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa, Dr. Carlos Espinoza, Dr. Benson Huang, and Dr. Reynaldo Godines for their utmost attention and care. Also, another special thanks to her caregiver, Puresa Estrada.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral and Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Chapel service at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
