Diana Martinez

Diana M. Martinez, age 80, entered into God’s Kingdom on Monday, September 11, 2017. She leaves behind many great memories as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Diana M. Martinez was a member of the Vela Perpetua and the Cursillo Movement at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and served her church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel S. Martinez; her parents, Ignacio and Leonor Molina; and her brother Reynaldo R. Molina.

She is survived by her children, Juan Manuel (Leticia) Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Leticia (Manuel) Romo, Jose A. (Emma) Martinez, Maximiliano Martinez; her grandchildren, David (Clarissa) Martinez, Gracie (Juan) Olguin, Jessica (Cesar) Herrera, Jennifer (Raul) Sanchez, Jo Anne (Ricardo) Prudencio, Manuel Romo, Jr., Anaissa Romo, Ivanna Romo, Juan Jesus Martinez, J. Maximiliano Martinez, Brandon Martinez, and Angela Martinez; her sister Maria L. Torres; and brothers, Israel (Carmen) Molina and Ignacio Molina, Jr. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences from 5 to 9 in the evening on Friday the 15th of September 2017 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel, 719 Loring at Cortez; a Rosary will be recited at 7.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 8:30 in the morning on Saturday the 16th of September 2017 to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 in the morning.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Manuel Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Jose A. Martinez, Maximiliano Martinez, Manuel Romo, Manuel Romo, Jr., Juan J. Martinez, and David Martinez.
