Derek Ray Trevino, 19, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 24, 2011. Derek was a young man that marched to the beat of his own drum. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and nephew. He will be missed by many and especially his mother Elizabeth Alonzo-Villarreal. He was the youngest of five children. He attended United High School and graduated from the Texas Challenge Academy December 2009.-At the time of his passing he was working for Domino's Pizza.
He was preceded in death by his father Luis Trevino; maternal grandfather Reynaldo Alonzo; uncles, Jose Trevino, Oscar Trevino; and his paternal grandparents, Erbey and Maria R. Trevino.
Derek leaves behind his beloved mother, Elizabeth (Erasmo) Alonzo Villarreal; siblings, Priscilla D. Rangel, Amanda M. Trevino, Veronica (Erain Acevedo) E. Trevino, Melinda Samantha Trevino, Jessica Villarreal, Christopher Villarreal, Lynda Villarreal, Lizette Villareal; nephews, Robert X. Hernandez, Giovanni Hernandez, Antonio E. Acevedo; grandmother, Herlinda Alonzo; uncles and aunts, James Alonzo, John (Griselda) Alonzo, Nancy (Jeremy Clifton), Mary (Dong) Pham, Sergio Trevino, Hector Trevino, Norma Trevino, Alfredo (Mary) Trevino, Diana (Paul) Trujillo, Terry Trevino, Pete Sanchez; cousins, Karla Alonzo, Nancy Alonzo, Daniela Alonzo, Monique Alonzo, and James David Alonzo. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family and many dear friends.
