DELIA D. ZAMORA October 16, 1922 - August 20, 2014 Delia D. Zamora, 91, loving mother, grandmother and friend entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She leaves behind many great memories that we will cherish forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Juanita G. Davila; as well as by her husband, Arnulfo "Zam" Zamora; brother, Emilio Davila, and grandson, Alejandro Salinas. Delia is survived by her daughter, Delia Zamora Salinas of Laredo, Texas; grandson, Carlos A. Salinas of San Antonio, Texas; sisters in law, Rose Anne Salinas of Brownsville, Texas, and Estela Zamora Kramer of Laredo, Texas. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. The family would like to thank her longtime friend, Beatriz Rosas for all her love, attention and companionship. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
