DELIA “DEE DEE” R. WINANS

SEPTEMBER 9, 1949 – MAY 10, 2019

Mrs. Delia R. “Dee Dee” Winans went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, May 10, 2019.

She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas on September 9, 1949 to Ramiro and Felicidad Ramirez. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She graduated from Martin High School in 1968 and worked for 35 years at H.E.B., where she eventually retired from there.

Preceding her in death are her beloved husband: Murray E. Winans; parents: Ramiro and Felicidad Ramirez and her brother-in-law Pablo Saldaña Jr.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her two adored sons, who were the love of her life: Andy L. Winans and Billy (Veronica) Winans; grandchildren: Andrew Lee Winans Jr., Sharon N. Winans, Kyle B. Winans, Billy Winans Jr., Madison N. Winans, Mackenzee A. Winans; great-grandchildren: Maya D. Esquivel and Mateo Esquivel. Her grand and great grandchildren were the gems in her heart and eyes. Further surviving her are her siblings: Magdalena (Alberto Jr.) Campos, Ramiro (Linda) Ramirez Jr., Juan M. Ramirez, Gloria Saldaña.

We thank you mom for always being there for us. You will always be loved and greatly missed. Rest in peace. Until we meet again in paradise.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; visiting hours will be from 5 until 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will take place in the funeral chapel on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Time for the funeral service is pending at this time.

Procession will depart immediately following the funeral to the Laredo City Cemetery for the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be: Andrew L. Winans Sr., Billy Winans, Andrew L Winans Jr., Billy Winans Jr., Kyle B. Winans, Ramiro Ramirez Jr., Javier Saldaña, Pablo Saldaña III and Alberto Campos III.
