Delia Texas

Delia Ramos, 75, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 15, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her husband Andres Manuel Ramos; her parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Arzola, Sr.; her brother Rene Arzola, and her sister Olivia A. Bernal.

She is survived by her children, Araceli R. (John Neal) Broussard, Melinda R. (Enrique, Jr.) Vasquez; her grandchildren, Lauren Renee Broussard, Christine Maree Vasquez; her sisters and brother, Gloria Arzola, Antonio (Margie) Arzola, Jr., Yolanda (Joaquin +) Ramirez; and her brother-in-law, Rev. Deacon Anastacio Bernal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Karina D’Regil, Patricia D’Regil, and Altus Hospice Care for their utmost care and attention.

Visitation will be held this evening, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will be held at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
