DAVIE “PELON” MORENO

March 21, 1979- July 6, 2023

Davie “Pelon” Moreno, 44, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Refugio & Guadalupe Moreno; his maternal grandparents, Eugenio & Maria Villegas; his uncle Librado Villegas; and his brother-in-law Rafael A. Guerra, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Victoria Moreno, Samantha Moreno, and Sofia Moreno; his grandchildren, Delilah Perez, David Perez, and Emma Moreno; his parents, David and Delfina Moreno; his siblings, Anna Lisa (Agustin Alvarado) Moreno, Lisa M. (Oscar) Camarillo, and Andrew Lee (Deborah) Moreno; as well as by numerous nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday afternoon, July 11, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Santo Niño Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be: Andrew L. Moreno, Oscar Camarillo, Kristopher N. Guerra, Rafael A. Guerra, III, Carlos D. Guerra, Gilberto Benavides, Pete Capetillo, and Reynaldo Gaytan.
