David Garcia

July 28, 1959 — February 27, 2021

David Eduardo Garcia, 61, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, February 27, 2021.

David was called by the Lord after a long battle with Sarcoidosis. Although he battled his illness for years, he always managed to stay positive; that was his outlook on life.

David was a Nixon High School graduate of 1978 where he participated in the FFA. He attended Laredo Junior College and eventually worked for his late father at Modern Machine Shop. He dedicated his life to learning how to operate the cranes, working alongside his brothers for over 40 years and eventually running the business: Modern Crane Service. David married his high school sweetheart, Ana Maria and were blessed with raising two children; Leana and David Garcia. He loved his wife and children unconditionally, was always a hard worker who dedicated his life to them and most recently his pride and joy; grandsons: Niklaus and David III.

David loved life. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially at the ranch, enjoying the beauty of God’s creations-nature. He loved music and air guitaring to the best 70s classic rock hits. He was always willing to help others. Anyone he knew was considered family.

David will always be remembered for his kind heart, radiant smile and his dazzling blue eyes which would brighten anyone's day.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Sergio and Lydia Garcia.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife; Ana Maria Garcia, their children Leana (Jorge) Garcia Paredes and David (Jennifer) Garcia, grandsons; Niklaus and David III, Garcia, siblings; Sergio Garcia Jr., Ricardo (Diana) Garcia, Fred Garcia, Danny (Laura) Garcia, Sandra (Andy) Saenz, Anna (Lance) Villarreal, Lisa (Carl) Zuniga and Kathy (John) Miller.
