Concepcion Medellin passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at the age of 87.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Francisco Medellin Jr.; her daughter, Silvia Medellin; and her parents Santos and Rita Alvarado.

Concepcion is survived by her sons Juan Jose Medellin, Juan Francisco (Mary) Medellin, Miguel Angel Medellin, Guadalupe "" (Lydia) Medellin, Raul (Veronica) Medellin, Martin (Maricela) Medellin, Jose Luis (Sara) Medellin; daughters, Maria del Carmen Granados, Maria Estela (Ovidio) Mireles, Linda (Ray) White, Concepcion (Basilio) Hernandez, and Dora (Leopoldo) Verdiguel. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Jose, Juan Francisco, Miguel Angel, Raul, Martin, Jose Luis, and Guadalupe Medellin, Jr., who will stand in for his father, as well as Francisco Granados.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Maria del Carmen Granados, Maria Estela Mireles, Linda White, Concepcion Hernandez, Dora Verdiguel, and Linda Marie Verdiguel.
