Concepcion Arredondo

Concepcion "Chonita" Arredondo, wife of the late Manuel Arredondo, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the age of 87.-On this day, we lost a special woman while heaven gained an angel. She will be loved always and remembered as a strong, nurturing and self-sacrificing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.-

Chonita is preceded in death by brothers and sisters Jesus (Faustina) Benavides, Carmen (Carlos) Valdez, Emeteria (Miguel) Arredondo, Bertha (Victor) Salinas, Antonio (Josefa) Benavides and Conferino (Francisca) Benavides.-

She is survived by her sister Olga (Luciano) Ramos of Chicago, IL, three daughters Sipriana (Pablo, deceased) Albidrez, Elia (Carlos) Perez and Connie (Roel) Vela, eight grandchildren, Patricia E. Albidrez, Becky (Joey) Gamez, Melinda Perez, Cristina (Jorge) Rodriguez, Rolando Vela, Bobby (Nelly) Vela, Charlie (Jackie, fiance) Perez, Roxanne Vela and two great grandchildren, Joey Gamez III and Pablo Esteban Gamez. While this family will never be the same, we are grateful for her life and the memories that will live on.-Special thanks to Dr. Arie Salzman for his years of medical attention and care.
