CHRISTIAN VICTOR CANTU
July 26, 2000 – May 3, 2023
Christian Victor Cantu, 22, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. To our baby boy, Christian, known to his family as GUY, words can’t express the void that will forever remain in our souls. We are heartbroken that we will never enjoy anymore wonderful memories with you. Like Christopher’s graduation this coming week, which you we’re excited about, trying to figure out what to wear, the upcoming Intocable concert we bought tickets for, our 2023 Annual Gallo Cook Off, but most of all never having the opportunity of knowing any children you would have graced us with. Oh, were we looking forward to children. Your short life was filled with love, family and friendships. You were the life and soul of every party. You put smiles on our faces with your silliness. You sang with inspiration. You served your country. You suffered. You feared nothing. You rushed to defend. A knight to the end. Rest now our Whataburger buddy, till we meet again. We will miss you and love you always.
Left to cherish his memory are: his parents, Victor Lee (Christina) Cantu; brother, Christopher Cantu; maternal grandfather, Gilberto Guardiola, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Maria Imelda Gonzalez; aunts and uncles, Frances (Guadalupe) Caballeros, Deacon Gilberto (Nora) Guardiola, Jr., Mary Lou (Jose) De Luna Jr., Gloria (Ruben) Gallegos, Joe (Irma) Guardiola, Delinda (Charlie) Holloway, Irma Gonzalez, and Hector (Roxanne) Gonzalez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
