Carroll was born in Robstown, Texas and moved to Bruni, Texas in 1929 where he spent the majority of his life until moving to Laredo in 2005. He served during WWII with the U.S. Navy. After returning to his hometown, he served as a U.S. Post Master for 30 years in Bruni, Texas. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather "Pepa", great-grandfather and friend. Among many enjoyments he loved to fish, hunt, work, and be with his family. He was an honorable, hardworking and loving man who has gone to serve his heavenly father. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn M. Brice; children, Frank (Jeanie) Brice, Douglas (Nancy) Brice, Marilyn R. Brice, Rosalie B. (Louie) Guajardo; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and his brother, Phil T. (Elsie) Brice.
Pallbearers will be: William (Bill) Joseph Chapman, Stuart Gene Herschap, T. H. (Sam) Giese, Louie Guajardo, Keith Patrick Brice, John (Sandy) Martin Brice III, Ted Michael Brice, James Franklin Scott, and Ralph Phillip Scott.
Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Carroll D. Brice.
