CARMEN JIMENEZ JULY 16, 1925 - MARCH 5, 2015 Carmen Jimenez, 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Carmen Jimenez is preceded in death by her husband Manuel C. Jimenez, and parents, Ramon and Modesta Perez. She is survived by her sons, Oscar Delgado, Agapito (Rosa) Delgado; daughter Alma (Henry) Martinez; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cata (Lalo) Colchado, Margot (Raymond) Sanchez, and Nena (Armando) Colchado. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Arturo Garza-Gongora for his undivided care. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 departing the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Santa Fe, Encinal, Texas, 78019 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Rolando Palacios, Orlando Palacios, Oscar Ramon Delgado, Randy Delgado, Erick Delgado, Humberto Delgado, Roger Perez, and Amado Colchado. Interment will follow at the Encinal Cemetery.
