Candelaria E. Garay, 70, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her daughter: Elizabeth Garay.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children:  Maritsa (Miguel A.) Carrillo and Charles Austin (Imelda) Garay; grandchildren:  Veronica Elizabeth (Jose Luis) Lara, Vivian Michelle Carrillo, Shelby Brian Carrillo, Charles Austin Garay Jr., Destiny Garay, Nia Garay; great-grandchildren:  Brandon Lee and Natalie Lara; sister: Mayra (Alejandro) Valdez, well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 4 until 9 pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel, 719 Loring at Cortez; Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 8:30 am on Thursday, November 21, 2019 to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be:  Miguel Carrillo, Shelby Carrillo, Jose Luis Lara, Brandon Lee Lara, Austin Garay, Sr., Austin Garay, Jr., and Nathaniel Nuñez.
