JANUARY 25, 1965 – OCTOBER 9, 2020

Brigido Gonzalez, Jr, 55, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, October 9, 2020.

Brigido Gonzalez was a strong and loving father, born in Laredo, Texas on January 25, 1965. The eldest of six children, Brigido was a lifelong fan of sports. He enjoyed watching football and baseball games and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was an outgoing and fun-loving character and wherever he went he was sure to meet friends or make new ones. Music was one of his most favorite past times and was famous for his loud speakers blasting rancheras on the weekends while he fixed his trucks. However, his proudest accomplishment, was surely his family. Wherever he went, he made sure people knew he loved his daughters and wife. His family is forever grateful at all the opportunities and blessings he bestowed upon them.

He was preceded in death by his father; Brigido Gonzalez, Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife; Maria de Jesus Lopez de Gonzalez, their children; Brenda (Luis Felipe Aleman, Jr.) Gonzalez, Karla Karina Gonzalez and Erika Aime Gonzalez. Also cherishing his memory are his mother; Josefina Cruz de Gonzalez, his siblings; Rolando Gonzalez, Carlos (Diana) Gonzalez, Maria Guadalupe (Santos) Bautista, Eduardo (Lorena) Gonzalez and Josefina (Alonso) Reyes.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, October 13, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
