Blanca M. Treviño

Blanca Nelia Treviño, 89, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, June 9, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Filomeno and Ofelia Madrigal; her siblings, Renato Madrigal, Filomeno Madrigal, Maximiliano Madrigal, Rosa Madrigal, and Maria Guzman Madrigal. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Blanca N. (Raymond) Treviño-Castro, Thelma (Martin) Maldonado, Gloria (Benjamin) Contreras, Ervey (Martha) Treviño, and Tano (Isabel) Treviño; her grandchildren, Ruben Castro, Amy Castro, Kevin Castro, Ramiro Maldonado, Martin Maldonado, III., Benjamin Contreras, Jr., Ervey Treviño, Mark Treviño, Monica Garcia, Tano Treviño, Jr., Jessica Treviño, and Joel Treviño; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca Castro, Ryan Castro, Jayson Lopez, Jake Lopez, Elliott Maldonado, Ryella Maldonado, Victoria Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Jr., Myla Treviño, and Owen Treviño; her long-term care companion, Sandra Gonzalez ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, June 12, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, June 13, 2024 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be: Ruben Castro, Kevin Castro, Ervey Treviño, Ramiro Maldonado, Martin Maldonado, III., Joel Treviño, and Benjamin Contreras, Jr.
