Betty Vivian

Betty Joyce Vivian, 81 years of age, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Betty was born October 2, 1930 in Calera, OK, but lived most of her life in Laredo, where she lived with her sweetheart and lifelong partner, husband, Edwin Vivian. Their marriage of 62 wonderful years was blessed with two children who she adored, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrand children who she doted on.

Betty worked for over 25 years with UISD as the Assistant to the principal. She spent most of her time with her husband out on the ranches, working cattle, riding horseback, going fishing and most of all helping him keep the books. Her favorite part of life was spending all her time with her family. She will be missed dearly.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Vernest Hurst and Vivian Hurst, and her son: Alvin Edwin Vivian Jr. Sister: Shirley Wright; Brother, Vernest Virgil Hurst Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband: Alvin Edwin Vivian Sr.: Daughter: Sandra Vivian; grandchildren: Jennifer Brundige (Jamie Brundige), Megan Jonas; great grandchildren: Julia Renee Brundige, Brice Brundige, Samantha Jonas; brother: Eddie Joe Hurst (Sharon Hurst).

Pallbearers will be: Jamie Brundige, Brice Brundige, Ray Hurst, Ben Vaughn III, Billy Eldon Eneks, and David Eneks.
