BERTHA NENQUE
August 30, 1953 ~ April 6, 2011

Bertha Nenque, 57, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 6, 2011.-Bertha was born on August 30, 1953 in Levelland, Texas and then moved to Laredo, Texas where she resided the rest of her life.-She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.-She earned her Bachelor's degree in education where she taught at L.I.S.D. and eventually earning her Master's degree.-She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Bertha was preceded in death by her father Adan Castillo, and the father of her children, Gilberto M. Flores.

Bertha is survived by her son Gilbert M. (Luisa) Flores, Jr., daughter Bertha Lee (Joe) Dovalina, her grandchildren, Dominique Flores, Gilbert M. Flores III, Breiana L. Dovalina, Jadee A. Dovalina, her mother Gloria V. Castillo, brothers and sisters Oscar Castillo, Adan (Emily) Castillo, Irene (Willie) Aguirre, Edward (Maria) Perez, Elsa (Jose) Vega, Esther (Nati) Dominguez, Odili (Jesus) Marquez, Adolfo (Lupe) Castillo, Daniel (Anna) Castillo, and Rebeca De Luna.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road from 5 to 9 in the evening.-A Vigil will be held at 7 in the evening.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April, 8, 2011 at Divine Mercy Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.-Cortege will depart at 8:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
