Berta Dominguez-Moreno, 75, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Berta Dominguez-Moreno, also known as Birdy, joined our Lord in His heavenly Kingdom on February 9, 2021. Berta was a beautiful soul who truly enjoyed the fun things in life. She loved to dance and sing, she always put others before herself, and she prioritized family and love over everything else. She was fond of going on breakfast dates at her favorite local restaurants like Safari, and she loved listening to music in her backyard. Berta also enjoyed traveling, and really cherished entertaining her grandchildren with her enticing childhood stories. She had a heart of gold, always making sure everyone was okay. She cherished being around her family and friends. Aside from being a loving wife Berta was a great mother and wonderful grandmother. For that, she will be truly missed. She is a missing gem in everyone‘s life.
She was proceeded in death by Father: Jose Z Dominguez and Mother: Baudilia Margarita Martinez- Dominguez, Brothers: Jesus (Diana) Dominguez, Roberto (Cindy) Dominguez, Mario (Yolanda) Dominguez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Adriana Menchaca (Darlene), Juan Menchaca (Carmen), Joe Menchaca (Sandra), Dominque Arguello (Sergio), Vanessa Byrd (Joseph), Mark Neylan. Mrs. Moreno is survived by a host of grandchildren: Kazandra Menchaca, Terri Neylan, Juan III Menchaca, Meagan Menchaca, Francisco Javier Arguello, Jacob Menchaca, Joaquin Menchaca, Daniel Menchaca, Max and Brandon Quintanilla, Victoria and Julie Byrd, Trey and Scarlett Neylan, and great-granddaughter Mila Moreno. Mrs. Moreno was married to Eduardo Moreno in the year of 1999. She is also survived by her siblings: Zulema Dominguez-(Leal), Elva Dominguez-(Schrimpsher), Jose (Teresa) Dominguez Jr, Raul Dominguez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a chapel service commencing at 7 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., Laredo Texas 78041.
Cremation will be held at a later date.
