Benigno Rodriguez

Benigno Hector Rodriguez, Sr., 84, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents: Benigno G. and Lilia Rodriguez; brothers and sisters: Raul "Rod" Rodriguez, Lamar Ramirez, Belia Rocha, Olga Rodriguez; and parents-in-law: Victor, Jr., and Josefa Pea. He is survived by his loving and exceptional wife of 62 years of marriage: Maria Elida Rodriguez; children: Thelma Elia Rodriguez, Nelda Elsa Rodriguez (Juan Manuel) Meza, Benigno H. (Kathleen) Rodriguez, Jr., David (Elvia) Rodriguez; grandchildren: Emanuel Meza, Juan Andres Meza, Hector (Roxanne) Meza, Benigno H. Rodriguez, III, Gilberto J. Rodriguez, Tiffany D. Rodriguez, Janie M. Rodriguez, Christina M. Rodriguez, Emily A. Rodriguez, and David J. Rodriguez; sister: Esperanza Nela (Gustavo) Ceja; and sister-in-law: Marilyn Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Arturo Garza-Gongora and staff for their utmost kindness and care for Mr. Benigno H. Rodriguez, Sr. Visitation will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 departing the funeral home at 8:00 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
