Revelation 14:13 "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Beatriz R. Martinez, 81, was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend to many. Throughout her life she encompassed and embraced her faith, which has been instilled and passed on throughout her family. Although it is sad to let go, we are comforted with and by our faith during this special and important season of Easter that she has gone to be with the Lord after a long and blessed life. Beatriz is preceded in death by her husband: Emilio Eloy Martinez, sister: Armandina Vega; and her parents: Reynaldo Reyna and Selinda V. Reyna. She is survived by her son: Emilio Martinez and wife Maria Luisa G. Martinez; granddaughters: Christina Gabriela (Noe Arcadio) Martinez-Benitez, Selinda Aurora Martinez; great-grandson: Noe Eloy Benitez; brothers and sisters: Reynaldo (Catalina) Reyna, Jr., Jose Luis (Olga) Reyna, Ada Carmen (Eduardo) Pea; sisters-in-law: Guadalupe M. Paredes, and Irene M. (Ernesto) Ramos. A special thanks to Rev. Nolasco Hinojosa for his spiritual care and support during her life and final days.
