BASILIA B. RUIZ APRIL 15, 1913 - APRIL 28, 2015 Mrs. Basilia B. Ruiz, 102, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born on April 15, 1913 in San Juan de Los Lagos, Mexico. Mrs. Ruiz is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Ruiz; parents, Hipolito and Vicenta Barba; daughter Maria Luisa Juarez; son Miguel Ruiz; brothers and sisters, Jesus, Cornelio, Maria Luisa, Juanita; other relatives, Josefina Diaz, Bertha Olivares, Visi Sandoval, Rodolfo Ruiz, and Cornelio Barba, Jr. She is survived by her step-daughter Estella (Santiago) Limon; grandchildren, Alma (Oscar) Garcia, Jorge (Estelle) Juarez, Jesus (Maria Luisa) Juarez, Javier (Tere) Juarez, Dora (Ricardo) San Miguel, Patsy, Abel, Abelina, Belinda, Judy, Sandra, David, Dora, Irma, Rudy, Rogelio, Norma, Lilly, Enriqueta, Sylvia, Norma, Sandra, Chelo, Sandra, Rickey, Michelle, Michael; great grandchildren, Cristian Garcia, Betsy (Jose Luis Contreras) Garcia, Oscar (Priscilla) Garcia, Peter, Jesus III, Emily, Airam, Stephanie, Amanda, Valerie, Javier, Michelle, Melissa, Cristina, and beloved relatives and extended family. Visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
