Barbara Garza

Barbara Tina Garza, 87, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her parents, M. Little and Agustina Diaz Little.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years of marriage, Anastacio G. Garza; her children, Mark (Judy) Garza, Monica (Joseph) Gonzalez, Matthew (Norma) Garza; grandchildren, Maritza (Richard) Benavides, Marcos Garza, Christopher Garza, Melanie (Eric) Oliva, Jason (Brenda) Gonzalez, Amanda Garza; great-grandchildren, Ricky Benavides, Lily Benavides, Evelyn Oliva, Mila Oliva; and her sister Mary Pearl Shinn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

On behalf of the family, they extend their most sincere appreciation to Rosie, her loyal and loving caregiver.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez; with a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary at 5:00 p.m. All services conclude in the chapel.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
