Aurora Tijerina

Aurora R. Tijerina, 60, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22, 2013. She was surrounded by her family. Aurora was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Ramon and Constanza Rodriguez on February 04, 1953. She married the love of her life, Eduardo H. Tijerina on August 04, 1973 and had 5 beautiful children to which she devoted her life to.

She is preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her children-who love and adore her dearly,-Claudia Tijerina, Denise (Alan) Villarreal, Melissa (Jake) Spruiell, Eduardo ''Wayo'' Tijerina, and Christine Tijerina. She was a doting grandmother to Robert Ortega & Lauren Salazar, Roberto & Carlo Quintanilla, Alandro Villarreal, and Ava & Elle Spruiell. They will miss her abundance of love. She is also survived by her 3 caring brothers, Raymond (Judy) Rodriguez, Jorge (Iris) Rodriguez, and Ricardo (Graciela) Rodriguez, as well as by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes to send their most sincere gratitude to Dr. Arturo Garza-Gongora for his compassionate care.

Pallbearers will be: Eduardo L. Tijerina, Robert Ortega, Jake Spruiell, Alan Villarreal, Jorge Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, and Raymond Rodriguez.
