AURORA G. RAMIREZ

July 10, 1927 - February 09, 2016

Aurora G. Ramirez joined our Lord in Heaven on Tuesday, February 09, 2016, at the age of 88. God took her gently, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mrs. Ramirez was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Pedro I. Ramirez; and her parents, Felix and Amada Garcia; brothers, Amador Garcia, Agustin Garcia, Jose Angel Garcia; sisters, Blasa Garza, Beatriz Morales, and Amelia Alegria.

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her children, Estanislado (Hilda) Ramirez, Blasa (Mario) Pena, Pedro I. (Polly) Ramirez Jr., Diana (Ricardo) Rincon, Alicia (Vicente) Ramos Jr., Ruben (Gracie) Ramirez, Mario (Carmen) Ramirez, Aurora (Jorge) Salazar, Juan Jose (Anna Trevino) Ramirez, Patricia (Jose A.) Castillo, Veronica (Javier) Cantu; and sister, Petra Dilley. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved relatives.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Juanita Arreola, Rachel Olachea, Lydia Moncivias, and Aurelia Villanueva for the care and kindness shown towards our mother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be recited by Deacon Ray Guevara at 7 p.m.

A Funeral service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Zapata, Texas. The family encourages anyone who will be attending services to meet at the church in Zapata, Texas.

Interment will follow at the family plot in Zapata County Cemetery.
