Aurora A. Duarte, 79, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday July 09, 2014 at the age of 79. Aurora is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Antonio Duarte Sr.; sons, Manuel Antonio Duarte Jr., Mario Alberto (Argelia P.) Duarte Sr., Armando Javier (Rebecca Margarita Garza) Duarte; grandchildren, Mario Alberto (Christina Sanchez) Duarte Jr., Sandi Harsa, Lucinda Christine Duarte, Bianca Analee Duarte, Sophia Isabella Duarte; great grandchildren, Adaani Duarte, Talia Harsa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital and Merida Hospice for the care of our beloved Aurora. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. The funeral procession will depart on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment will the follow to Laredo City Cemetery.
