Ascencion Soto

Mr. Ascencion Soto, 71, entered into peace on the evening of Tuesday, January 04, 2011, in Tallahassee, Florida.-Mr. Soto was a Retired Reservist with the US Marine Corp, having always been a proud member of the US Armed Forces. He served for 25 years as a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marines Corps 1st class. He courageously fought his illness with strength and perseverance.-God saw he was getting tired and has now called him home.-We will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Etelvina Soto; his parents, Reyes Soto and Margarita F. Soto.

Mr. Soto is survived by his children: Jesus (Maria) Soto, Ramon Soto, Isabel Soto, Ricardo (Elma) Soto, Ernesto Soto and Linda Soto. He is also survived by his much loved grandchildren: Teresa Ramon (Charles) Howard, Alma (Brian) Kilpatrick, Tiffany Stewart, Martha Soto, Jesus Soto Jr., Valeria Soto, Alberto Soto, Jerry Soto, Marie Mendoza, Dorothy Mendoza, Jasmine Mendoza, Ramon Soto, Jr and Roxanne Soto.-Further surviving him are his 8 great-grandchildren as well as his brothers and sisters:-Eliseo (Olinda) Soto, Reyes (Minerva) Soto, Margarita (Arturo) Brizuela, Alicia (Austin) Rankin.

Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and the US Marine Corps Honor Guard.
