Arturo Texas

Arturo Gonzalez, 71, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 13, 2016, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Arturo was preceded in death by his loving parents, Virginia and Merced Gonzalez, of Mirando City, Texas.

Arturo is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Gina (Henry) Garza; and son, Gerardo Gonzalez. He was also blessed with three grandchildren whom he adored, Jacob, Justin, and Jordan Garza. He is further survived by his sisters, Eudelia (Sam) Hernandez and Evelina Gonzalez; his uncle, Mickey (Berta) Lopez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arturo will always be remembered as a hardworking man and an excellent provider with a never-ending sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., Laredo, Texas; where a Chapel Service will commence at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Magnolia Cemetery, Mirando City, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
