Antonio Rendon Lerma

January 22, 1927-October 27, 2021

Our beloved father went to join our loving mother in Heaven at the age of 94 on October 27, 2021.

He was born in Asherton, Texas, and lived in Corpus Christi, Texas for 11 years, but lived almost his entire life in Laredo.  He was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Armed Forces during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Leonor Torres Lerma; his parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Janie (Lupe) Lerma Robles; his four sons, Antonio (Nora) Lerma, Jr., Abel F. (Esther) Lerma, Adolfo T. Lerma, and Arnoldo (Mari) Lerma.  He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 3:00 p.m. Military Honors will be provided by Fort Sam Houston Honor Guard and the Local Post 59 at 4:00 p.m.

All services will conclude the same day.  A private cremation and Interment will take place at a later date.

Our family wishes to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to: Mr. Ricky Gonzales and all the staff at Retama West who cared for our father for 4 years.
