Anita Rodriguez, 96, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. She was born in Encinal, Texas June 4, 1920 to parents, Tiodulo and Maria del Refugio Martinez.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raul Victor Rodriguez, three daughters, Sonia (Dennis) Douthitt, Yolanda (Lee) Phare, and Norma (Ronald) Adamo.

Anita is survived by two daughters, Ana Maria (Manuel) Mireles of Alice, Texas, Thelma Luhrsen of Los Angeles, California; two sons, Raul Victor Rodriguez, Jr., and Javier Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas; and one sister Delia Ortega of Corsicana, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 departing the funeral home at 10:40 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
